Still no coach in place?
Still no coach in place?
Nope, still without a coach. It is not looking good for camps and things this summer!

Lots of high schools are having trouble with finding coaches because of the pay and the fact that coaching is a year round thing with camps, pratice, open gyms, and all the rest that goes with coaching.

Or the politics prevents some coaches from being involved or hired. . .

Agreed, PV have numerous coaches that would be a perfect fit for the job but politics will not allow it. PV doesn't want a good coach, they want someone who doesn't devote themselves to it, which may take away from the other sports
Here is a posting on the Wise County School System website.

The politics comes from Coach Robbins. He runs the sports and the school at PV. Well actual he runs the whole county. Who ever is the best fit for him is who will get the job. He wants to have all the power at PV. If the person will put football first, track second he will get the basketball job.
A friend close to the schools today told me that Zack Moore will be the new coach if his transcripts pan out.
